| Sartigan Metal
Inc. is a family business that was founded in 1989. At first it was active
in the sale and manufacture of conventional structures, but in 1993 launched
its own product-a prefabricated steel building called BATI-KIT. The building
system, which is known for its superior quality, quickly became a popular
choice in Quebec, Ontario, and a number of American states. Today it continues
to gather momentum in these markets, where the BATI-KIT name has come to
stand for solidity, astounding thermal performance, and quick assembly.
Growth continues apace at Sartigan Metal Inc. The company went from selling eight buildings a year in 1993 to sixty in 2003, for a total of over 400 sales to date. Some of its most noteworthy customers include Hydro-Québec, National Defense, SNC Lavalin, Ganotec, Alex Couture, and many others. Of course, this success is in large part due to the company's vitality and the active involvement of its team. In fact, the team spirit and professionalism of its employees are a real point of pride for Sartigan management. The company has always been very involved in the local business community. Examples of this include its involvement in various organizations such as the Beauce Economic Council, its donations to charities, its willingness to take on interns, and its involvement in community projects like Rendez-vous à la Rivière. Its management has
always put a premium on technological progress. The company has never
hesitated to purchase the latest machinery or expand the plant to boost
production capacity. In fact, further expansions and machinery purchases
are in the works to cut production time and develop new markets. |
